Japan, what can I say about Japan?

I just fell in love at the first sight… the streets were grey and busy but coloured by the beautiful sakuras that blossoms exactly in the week of spring that we got there, so yes, seeing that was really, really beautiful…

I loved Japan, the streets, the people, the food!!! The food was the best, Kung found a Soba place, which was very good and super cheap, it became my favourite restaurant.

Japan has many different interesting zones, one day I decided to go Omonte Sanndo but I got lost and I ended at Harajuku, what a place… it’s a zone full of stores, vintage clothes, old toys, and all kinds of men’s and women’s fashion, the streets during daytime are super busy and in the weekends the people go there dressed in a different or exotic way. Which is a hobby that I found super funny so I decided to be part of those people dressed in a strange way or with costumes… Yes I attacked the zone with my super ninja boots!!

You can find all kind of stores, but mainly there’s a lot of clothes designed by local Japanese people, which are very cheap and very nice and also very different.

We were staying in a place called Roppongi. This is a busy area as well, both in the day and with its nightlife, the first night we decided to go to a karaoke bar, it was really, really, really very fun! You go there and you get a room full of neon lights and a booth with small table so you can eat and drink and the best thing which is to SING!

The sushi place where Kill Bill the movie was filmed was pretty near to our area, so the local Diageo people took us to dinner there, nice sushi and beautiful place!

Oh I miss Japan!!!

There’s a street called Akihabara. It’s a marvellous street, hahaha, because it’s full of electronic shops with cameras and computers at very accessible prices. Also there are stores just of video games and stores that have 4 or 5 floors and each floor has different kind of stuff, like in the first floors usually there’s electronic stuff, and on the upper levels they have costumes and machines and games everywhere! It is crazy! So many people spend their nights inside playing some “Japanese Casino games” which I found it out of the normal global nightlife that I have seen before…

During our days filming, we went to a beautiful place in Japan called Asakusa. There’s a big temple and there’s lots of traditional Japanese souvenirs. With Japanese demons, and lots of candy that they don’t look like candy, they look more like toys, yes Japanese sweets are very crazy and full of anime of course.

The music scene in Japan is very big, Japanese people listen to everything, including punk, trance , techno, house as well as hip hop and R&B, you can find everything.

There are a few places that obviously I searched for because of the music that I like, so I found a nice place called Air. It is medium sized, with very nice music and a very fresh atmosphere. Then there’s the WOMB, which is huge and normally has big events there and it’s very energetic.

I also went to Red Room - this is a smaller place and is more like a music gallery. You just go there, order a drink and sit and listen to the very fine taste of music that they have on that day. I went there one Sunday afternoon to listen a Swedish duo that played minimal Swing… something very new and very interesting.

Also I went to a Mexican restaurant!!! Yes! Ha ha I was super happy because I was going to eat Mexican food, but the place was a bar/restaurant so John, Kung and I decide to stay there having a beer and listening some Mexican live music and watching black & white old Mexican movies projected on the wall; very nice, I didn’t ever expect to find a place like this in the heart of Japan.

I got a pair of Ninja Boots, I just became crazy in the streets with them! Hahahaa MTV Japan also was with us all the time, one day they took us on a daytrip tour to Tepei. We went to a temple with a monk to do some meditation and then they took us to a theme park to make our team (MADE IN CHINA) pay our punishment for not being the winners of the challenge that they gave us in China. Which was pretty fun!
Yeah and like a week after in my took over with my ninja boots of Harajuku some Mtv crew was there filming people in Kimonos, but as soon as they saw me on my Japanese designer grey dress and my purple legins and my ninja boots dancing in the streets… they just stopped filming Kimonos… to come and see my super fashion Ninja boots.

Then they took us with the Diageo people for a very original dinner. Original because it was like a restaurant but with boats. The boats take you for a ride all the river while you have a very Japanese dinner and do some karaoke with your friends ;P

This time we got a new challenge - present a picture that describes Japan. The teams were the same as in China, but we called ourselves MADE IN JAPAN and our pictures were very original, we haven’t seen the pictures of the other team yet, but this time I’m sure that we are going to win!

I love the MTV challenges!

Thailand Full Moon Party

Wow!!! Finally we got to Koh Samui…what a beautiful place, it’s full of nightlife and crazy people.

We stayed in Koh Samui 3 days before going to Koh Pahgnan, I rented a scooter, and I spent the most part of my days in the massage place with John, ha.

At night, we went to different places, the most original place there was the ICE BAR, it’s a small bar, divided in 2 rooms, the main room and the ICE BAR which is at -7º so to get in, you must wear a coat and gloves. Most people are wearing beach clothes, so here they supply you with a big coat and gloves so you can be able to enjoy this original bar.

The ice was brought from Canada, (the owner said that in Canada has a special way to make ice) the bar is all decorated with ice Buddha’s, ice tables, and a beautiful ice Rickshaw and the drinks are served in ice glasses.

We also went to a bar called Mint… the music was very nice and around it was full of bars, which normally are connected by a small street so you can mix with the people in the street and in the other bars, because they are very close to each other.

On Friday we took a speed boat to get us to Koh Pahgnan, we stayed in a beautiful place called The Sanctuary, which was in a hidden beach, with organic food, yoga, spa and Thai palm houses, which were beautiful!!!

On Saturday, it was the day of the Full Moon Festival, John and I worked on doing a plan for filming on the night.
Also we were celebrating our 6-month anniversary in the Smirnoff 10!!! Everyone was super excited about the full moon festival and Kung was in the DJ line up of that night.

So, the main festival was in Had Ran, a beach 20 min in a boat from our Sanctuary, so we got there in a boat, we danced and talked to the people over there, we worked hard the first hours and then we left Had Ran, and left to our Sanctuary, because they had another full moon party over there…Which was awesome!!!! The DJ was a French guy: he played progressive trance and minimal techno (my favourite genres of music) so I danced all night 'til the sun came up!

After the party was finished, some drum players took their drums to the beach and made a small drum battle while we were taking the sun and drinking a healthy smoothie from the Sanctuary.

This festival was the best festival in a long time… the moon was beautiful, on this island the moon looks a lot bigger, the people were so nice and the place was such a beautiful dream, so calm and chilled out.

Now we have to leave because we have a flight to catch to Takashi’s hometown JAPAN!!!!!!

Thailand

Bangkok reminds me of my hometown, the city its pretty similar, but the difference here is that here its packed of
Vegetation, Buddha’s and flowers, the weather is humid and warm but very nice.

The first day we were here Kung took us to a traditional Thai massage place, Oh my God, it was extremely good and cheap, the massage ladies are like massage machines, super strong.

Bangkok night life counts with a nice music scene, you can find R&B, Hip-Hop, trance music and obviously Drum n bass! The first night we went out, we went to a very popular club in Bangkok called Club Culture, this club host nights of drum n’ bass and minimal techno mainly, the tables of the place are the most originals, because they are acrylic cube lamps with the design of a wooden table and they look super nice in the darkness of the place. After there, because here places close at 2.00am, we left to Kung’s House… ha-ha it was so strange to meet his brother his friends, his city and his house and being in his room talking and be able to see the lifestyle of my new best friend in this trip was a very nice experience.

We had busy days with media here in Thailand, we had a conference press in an Official Smirnoff bar, which was the place where our Thailand party has hosted. The party was on Saturday and it was super packed, we got two different areas, in the upper level Kung played some drum n bass with an MC, there were very refreshing drinks with watermelon and the place and the people were very nice.

The city also is invaded by the smell of the street food, that its quite spicy and super super, super hot!

There’s a street called Khao San Road, which is a tourist street, with stores, bars, restaurants, hostels and lots of hidden bars between the small streets that sneak between the stores.
You can find there all kinds of noodles and unusual salads and my favourite dessert here; sticky rice with mango and coconut milk.

There’s a super big weekend market called Chatuchak, this market is awesome, you can go spend all day there, eat something and shop very cheap and beautiful stuff… lamps, wooden frogs, fabric key chains elephants, candles, dresses, shoes, bags, pins, toys, CD’s, electronic stuff, and all you can imagine, you can find it here, Kung took us last Sunday, it was nice but exhausting!

By the way, the traffic in Bangkok its pretty busy, so if you are in rush hour… you just can take a moto taxi! Wow this is the best and the most original thing I have seen here, it’s super cool, because you get faster to anyplace and I have to admit that its super fun and I love it!

Next week we are flying to Koh Phagnan, ready for the Full Moon festival and Koh Samui Island, yes!!!!
Beach again!!!!

INDIA

Rickshaws, fabrics, colourfully religious images of a thousand colours everywhere…The incense smell gives you the welcome in the International Airport of Mumbai.

Traffic is very busy, you can take a walk through Bandra street which is lit by this huge market of accessories, fabrics, cheap clothes, shoes, bags, etc.

The first few days here, I took the time to take just few rides by rickshaw so I could feel closer to the real India.
India is packed with colour, food, spices, cows and chivas. In the streets you can get the best Masala Chai (tea) in the world, because obviously, it’s the original one, for just 5 rupees.
You can also get curries of all flavours and colours imaginable.
India Gate is located in the downtown, where there are lots of streets for shopping, you can get everything you look for, from wooden Ganeshas to clothes and powder paint with Indian design stamps for the body.

India has lots of contrasts, is very busy and crowed by the traffic in the city, but also its pretty relaxing and chilled out, people here its very friendly, and you can hear music by everywhere in the streets mixed with the sound of millions of horn sounds from the traffic in the city in the rush hour.

India Nightlife is very alternative; you can find lots of different scenes. Places like “Blue Frog” offer different music every night, the party officially ends at 1:30 am because they have a restriction on bars and dancing places. But that’s when you can go to the famous house parties… Yeah that’s right, everyone goes to someone’s house and spend the night partying there till 9 or 10 in the morning.

India’s music scene is famous because of their Bollywood scene, which is pretty strong, but India also has different music like hip-hop, indie rock and alternative music like techno, psychedelic trance and trance. India has one of the biggest scenes of psychedelic trance music in the world.

Mumbai, Taj Mahal, Goa, Delhi… India has lots of world icons including Gandhi, Shiva, Siddhartha, Buddha, incense, curry, spices, elephants, karmas, mysticism…India has lot to offer, beautiful beaches, beautiful people, beautiful culture and very strong beliefs.

We had busy days in India, because we had photo shoot sessions, radio interviews and we had a brunch at Zenzi Club - a special brunch organized to show a photo exhibition of the pictures that us the Smirnoff Ten had taken since we started this trip, and the brunch was great, with a big variety of Indian snacks and food, and green apple martinis, Djane Pearl from Mumbai span nice progressive trance.

Also Paul Van Dyk was playing at a special party sponsored by The Smirnoff Experience, the place was completely packed and. They had a variety of martinis, and vodka drinks

I have always wanted to go to India, and as well India was exactly what I was expecting, I had an incredible experience here, and for sure I will come back, because there’s still lots of stuff that I haven’t seen before here, I really loved India.

Unwind in Morro de Sao Paulo…

Just like a dream… In the morning the sea sound makes you jump from bed pretty early every morning. The breakfast is ready and it’s full of fruits, cheese, coconut, coffee and lots of different tropical juices.

Morro do Sao Paulo is the after carnival place, which is quite interesting, because, it’s a beautiful island without cars, the streets are made of sand; so you can walk from the beach to the city without shoes. The ambience here is between chilled out and not because there are still many parties during the week on the island.

At night time I didn’t want out to go anywhere, I spent the time just chillin’, and working a bit for the next video. While you take the sun, there are these guys that sell Açai (which is a fruit that comes from the Amazonas) frozen, with bananas, strawberries and honey… Also you can refresh yourself with some delicious coconut water… so good!

In the daytime, this place is a paradise, you can eat a great variety of seafood on the beach - mainly this cream that many restaurants have made of shrimps…mhhhhhh!! Lobsters, fish, tuna…

Near our place, we had four different beaches around, so you were able to choose the beach of your preference, we were in front of the beach number 1 which was just right beside beach number 2.

Beach number 2 was the tourist one, packed with açai sellers, stands selling coconut water, caipirinha stands, lots of restaurants, and people playing beach volleyball or a game similar to ping pong but without the table, and the beach was completely packed!

You only have to walk around 50 meters, to get onto the beach number 3, this beach was less packed and you were able to enjoy a nice show of kite boarding with very nice guys. I loved this beach!!! Just a couple of restaurants and kites: pretty nice.

But also there’s the beach number 4, this beach is like heavenly heaven because the beach was so lonely and peaceful, you can just go there and sit down in the small pools that are formed by big stones and sea water, which is the best since you can enjoy of the heat of the sun, but also refresh yourself at the same time. Lonely beach, no restaurants, no people, no sellers; just you and the beach, so quiet and calm.

At night time, this island is full of options, you can go and have a romantic dinner on the beach, surrounded by candles and hearing some live romantic Brazilian music and have a nice lobster.
You can find since Argentinean or Italian restaurant, as well local restaurants or you can eat something in ·“the beach street” like sweet and salty crepes, hot sticks of cheese or caipifrutas. This Island is packed of Israelis, Spanish and Argentineans so most of the people here understand Spanish and obviously was easier for me.

For me it was completely what I was looking for, the beach, the silence, the wonderful hammocks (I’m going to miss them), I can tell that I’m refreshed, and ready to keep on going into this wonderful trip.

Carnival...

The carnival in Salvador was nothing like I expected…

Usually when you hear about carnival in Brazil, you think of the one in Rio.
Little did I know that there was more than just one carnival in Brazil.

I was expecting a large scale parade with girls in sparkling costumes on grand floats, dancing the samba and covered in bright coloured feathers, putting on a performance that had been rehearsed for months, perfectly choreographed to Brazilian music and lots of people on street watching the procession.

The carnival I did get to experience was a lot different. I would be the centre of the attraction, me and many other partygoers on the streets, in camarotes and everywhere. All of us dancing and singing to more traditional Brazilian songs, behind the trucks that had singers, dancers, instrument players giving us a show never to be forgotten.

Carnival in Salvador, is one of the largest street parties in the world, with up to 1.3 million people out there on any of the four days in happens.

There were these big rooms called “Camarotes” made of three of four stages with different kinds of food (sushi, Brazilian food, fruits covered with chocolate…), each floor had a view to the street so you were able to see what was going on in the streets. Inside, you could listen to more Brazilian music, dance, eat, drink exotic cocktails, and get your feet massaged when tired from all the dancing.
The camarotes are like the VIP of VIP areas, and for almost every minute you are well taken care of, all the while partying without getting into the crowds on the streets. The vibe is always amazing too.

We went to two different “camarotes” one called Espresso 2222 and Nana Banana, I liked Nana Banana more, because the Smirnoff lounge was in front of the beach. You were able to hear Brazilian music in front of the beach or dance on the sand and chill out there with your friends and the beautiful sky full of shining stars.

To get into the Camarote you needed a special T-shirt. Each day was a different colour, and this was how the bouncers would recognise that you were part of a certain camarote. On the day that we were going to be on the street as part of the parade, we also got a certain coloured T-shirt. We were also warned to take care of these, because in a way this was your ticket to the fun, if it got lost or misplaced it was like losing a ticket to a concert. The same rules applied.

For me the most original and exciting thing was that you could customize your T-shirts and make it your own style. Some were sexy, some were plain, some were outrageous, basically a way to reflect your personality. The Smirnoff organisers had hired seamstresses to customize your T-shirts in whatever way you wished -either a template design or something you came up with yourself. I preferred to customize them by myself as I have always enjoyed experimenting with my own clothing items.

After a long transit from chilly Shanghai to sunny Salvador, I was always the first to wake up and greet the morning sun with happiness. The heat was never uncomfortable and I loved the vitamin D!

The hotel we were staying at was also the home for several groups of people from all over, the biggest group being the South African team with 25 people.
We had this beautiful rooftop swimming pool with view of some of the city and most importantly an uninterrupted view of the deep blue calm ocean. My daytime was spent taking in some sun and drinking coconut water and just enjoying the warmth with the Smirnoff Ten team…

Mornings were also a nice surprise for me, the breakfasts were amazing, with a lot of fresh fruits and juices and a wide selection of breads and teas. I love all food that’s good for the body. Especially when you are in Brazil where almost everyone seems like a model, you have to try and at least feel good about your own body if you don’t want be depressed when seeing these gorgeous Brazilians in action.
During the meals, we would get entertainment, which was truly Brazilian, boys and girls dancing the samba for us. I definitely concentrated during these little shows so that I could show my skills later at the parties.

The Smirnoff organisers had a lot of things for us to do, day trips to see the city, shopping excursions and my very favourite was the traditional Brazilian barbeque lunch, which was at a “Churrascaria”
In this restaurant waiters come by every few minutes with different kinds of meat and serve you a healthy portion. With the juicy meat we had a wide selection of salad bar and more surprising was the sushi den. Yummy.
It was delicious and the company was even better, because the Smirnoff Ten were joined by the huge South African group; crew from MTV Africa, Smirnoff Spin competition winners and the coordinators. We were a big group of Smirnoff people and MTV Africa having a fabulous lunch with lots of laughs and great conversation…these guys were awesome and extremely funny. Would love to hang out with them more.

Carnival was an amazing experience and I will never forget it.
The time has ended though and the Smirnoff Ten need rest. Now the island of Morro de Sao Paolo is waiting for me…

Next stop, sun, sea and relaxation. PARADISE!!!!!

Shanghai

My time in Shanghai has so far been one of the best! We were pretty busy doing some challenges that MTV Japan gave us, we had to make a film all about Shanghai, so we were split into two teams. I was with Akona, Thai Ben, John and Kareem, so we decided to make a cheesy kung fu dancing video, and we really had lots and lots of fun!!!! I was a kung fu dancing panda, and we went to lots of different tourist places to make our footage.

I celebrated my 27th B-Day in China and was unforgettable; we went to our favourite club in China called The Shelter (which was a bomb shelter a long time ago, and the place is full of tunnels and is pretty underground). They played minimal techno & IDM (my favourite style of music) so I really enjoyed my birthday!!!

Also in Shanghai was my first official Smirnoff party, and it was one of my happiest days of my life. Before the party we went to a Smirnoff cocktail dinner, which was delicious. It was set in a beautiful old style house-restaurant called Yong Foo Elite. There I found my new favourite drink: Lychee Martini with ginger… so good! And the best part is that we got a DISCO SMIRNOFF BUS that I felt in love with at first sight (ha-ha).

Then we had the Smirnoff Experience Shanghai event. It was awesome!!!

They had a bar with over 1300 different cocktails, made with teas, fruits and juices…

There was a special room, dedicated to find your favourite vodka martini, which like the cocktails, were also mainly made with teas and fruits.

The place had a silver birch forest, which is part of the Smirnoff filtration process, and you could hang wishes from the branches. The best part of the woods was the interactive headphones with birds singing!!!!

For me one of the highlights of the party was the water zone… it was a beautiful wall made of pearls with light reflected on it, so it looked like a real waterfall. You could be able to open the curtains and get water for free. And the other highlight of course, was the DJ, Sasha…I loved it! I grew up hearing his music, so I danced all night!!!!!

Mmmm… There was also lots of food!, Strawberries with chocolate were my favourite ones.

The cocktails were nice, full of fruits, toppings, teas, and sodas.

The line up of the night was an awesome drum battle, which Tom Middleton did with some local acts, a British rock band called Hard-Fi who were backed by some Chinese drummers, and then Sasha who played an exclusive rock remix set.

The drum battle was beautiful and very powerful and energetic - I really liked it. For me Sasha was the best, everyone was non-stop dancing, the event was a little bit cold, but nobody cared about it because of the venue and the music and the drinks and the food!

There were girls everywhere giving you gifts like cabaret feathers for the head and taking Polaroid pictures in a small spot simulating Moscow, with fake snow!!!!

After the event of Shanghai, we went to an after party in a super original place called The Wall, where Sasha came and played another special set.

China has been a beautiful experience, it’s a beautiful place full of history, and full of new life, it’s an ancient country but also it’s renewing all the time, the music scene is brand new, so they have lots of different kinds of music that are in “vogue”, like MC’s, Hip Hop, Jazz & Electronic music in all varieties.

Shanghai is now my favourite city!!!

Chilli China…

All of the Smirnoff Ten were very excited about China…

It’s a completely a different world!!!!

It’s pretty cold but still beautiful and interesting… we got a guided tour the fist day, Michael our guide took us to see a nice market and beautiful gardens, where we tried lots of street food, pretty strange food but I tried everything!

Afterwards we went to dinner to a very nice restaurant we tried the most part the menu… was crazy! The interesting thing in the Chinese restaurants is that you can order everything to share… I like that!

After dinner we took a long walk thro ugh ‘The Bund’ which is full of stores, sales people and the beautiful river; everything is so colourful and shiny!
Luiza and I got some skate shoes… hahahah and we played some arcade games with these teddy friends inside - Akona and I won a pair of teddy bears!

We went to see a French punk band in a place called ‘4 live’ and after that, we went to the Shelter (which long time ago was a bomb shelter). It was a pretty nice place with a dark tunnel as an entrance and lots of different people enjoying themselves there - French people mainly. You can find a different kind of music there every night, from rap and hip-hop, to techno, jazz and MC performers.

The weather has been very been cold!

We had a party in a city called Chengdu, so on Wednesday we caught a flight there and when we got there, there were some Smirnoff people already waiting for us with big signs saying ‘SMIRNOFF TEN!

Chengdu is awesome, the people are very warm and the streets are beautiful. We went to a Sichuan restaurant (which is like Chengdu’s traditional food) where we ate a lot of different and spicy food. After that we saw a performance of a Chinese magician. Then the people from Chengdu organized a noodle race between 5 of us, and I won! Wu wu wu!
That same night we went to a nice bar called A+. The music was great and the place was killer, full of acrylic tables with different coloured lights, they had Smirnoff and they put like origami with fruits so you could feel free to mix your drinks and your fruits! Pretty original way of drinking…

Our second night in Chengdu, we went to our first official Smirnoff Party in China; the dress code was white & silver.

The party was in this exhibition, the place was very industrial, but the venue was beautiful, all in white and silver. There was a transformer of the double-headed Smirnoff eagle performing. The line-up was DJ Fitalic (who has been working with DJ’s like John Digweed and Kasey Taylor), so I can tell that the music was super killer, the drinks consisted of thing like Cosmo martinis, Smirnoff Mule drinks as well as plenty of water.

The VIP pass was a pretty original bling-bling necklace with an ‘I LOVE SMIRNOFF’ legend on it.

Chengdu is a beautiful place to visit if you come to China.

Melbourne

WOW
For New Years Eve (time flies), we went to see Groove Armada playing on Bondi Beach, the production of the event was huge, Smirnoff had a lot of bars and the place was like a theme park but in front of the beach.

Groove Armada played like 1hr 30 mins and after they played a DJ set, the people were crazy - jumping and singing and of course we were all sweaty hahaha because we didn’t stop dancing.

After that we went back to our flat…we had a flight to take for Melbourne at 9am on 1st January… After a big chaos in the airport finally we get to Melbourne…

Melbourne, what a lovely city, so different from Sydney, the people here are more relaxed, so we went to a super huge summer day festival sponsored by Smirnoff, they had like a big Igloo with a DJ stage, It was about 35c so it was so hot, so the idea of the igloo was SUPER KILLER! It had a bar and a lot of space to dance!

When we got there, the Australian media was already waiting for us, so we gave a few interviews.

The surprise on that day was Sister Bliss (Faithless girl) playing at “our” Smirnoff stand, I think that of all the stands of the party, ours was one of the most crowded, Smirnoff is a popular brand here in Australia. We spent all day there, in a big local park, where there must have been 30,000 people.

The people are friendly here in Melbourne, and the life seems relaxed. There’s a lot of street art everywhere and lots of vintage and original bars, open air and indoor, but the city is quite interesting, it’s full of beautiful parks. They are everywhere and you can just go and chill out for a while…after our NYE celebration that was just what I was looking for!

Sydney Australia

Finally I’m in Sydney, this is a very nice and exciting city.

On my first night here, I went out to a place just around the corner of our flats, called the Wise Monkeys - a nice place to have a drink and go back to the 90’s (lol).

Ania had been feeling ill, and now I am… so the first week I have been in bed all day drinking tea!

We had a task in Sydney, which was to throw a party, but also Smirnoff in Sydney is a popular brand so we have been working with the media here. We went to a very nice café lounge and had an interview with a local paper, a photo shoot session and a nice chat about the Smirnoff Experience.

After that we were starvingggggg! So we decided to go to eat, Takashi suggested Korean food, so Steph, John, Takashi, Thai Ben and I went to a Korean restaurant. The food was unusual, new flavours in my mouth but I didn’t like it that much…I have to admit that.

We went to a local radio station; it was exciting, but quick. The next day we had one more photo shoot session here, I’m not used to it yet, but I think that I will.

Our days have been very amusing, we went to a bowling bar in the harbour of the city, where we spent a good time bowling, you can drink and eat in the place, they play nice music and there’s an outdoor bar too.

We visited a lot of different bars, but the Lotus Bar was one of my favourites because the decorations were beautiful and they have the best cocktails I ever tried before. In fact, they have won a lot of awards with their cocktails.

We went to an original place called the World Bar, which serves their drinks in teacups, and in the second floor they have art exhibitions.

So I have two weeks here in Sydney now, yesterday was our Smirnoff Ten Experience party, we decided to do a cocktail party, with artwork from each member of the team. Everybody was very excited about this idea. I think that I was the most excited with this, because I was in charge of setting up the place and I was like a fish in the water.

I met up with a Mexican friend, he was travelling to a festival of 6 days of folk music to Toowoomba, so we met for a few hours here, but I was happy to see a friendly face!
We went to the Opera house, I saw one guy who has been travelling around the world for 17 years, he was a didgeridoo player, and I made some footage of him because I really like his music.

For Christmas we had a very nice dinner, I cooked some pasta for my friends, and on the 26th we went to a killer day out party, crazy people, crazy music, crazy place… so we had a very wild day!
The music was quite different to the music that we are usually used to hearing, because this one was new mixes of the old electronic music from the 90’s.

The Australian people are really crazy; they just want to have fun. This city is too wild for me, but anyway I still like Sydney, somebody says that Melbourne is better,
Lets see what is waiting for us there, perhaps… Groove Armada are playing for NYE!
