Thailand Full Moon Party

Wow!!! Finally we got to Koh Samui…what a beautiful place, it’s full of nightlife and crazy people.

We stayed in Koh Samui 3 days before going to Koh Pahgnan, I rented a scooter, and I spent the most part of my days in the massage place with John, ha.

At night, we went to different places, the most original place there was the ICE BAR, it’s a small bar, divided in 2 rooms, the main room and the ICE BAR which is at -7º so to get in, you must wear a coat and gloves. Most people are wearing beach clothes, so here they supply you with a big coat and gloves so you can be able to enjoy this original bar.

The ice was brought from Canada, (the owner said that in Canada has a special way to make ice) the bar is all decorated with ice Buddha’s, ice tables, and a beautiful ice Rickshaw and the drinks are served in ice glasses.

We also went to a bar called Mint… the music was very nice and around it was full of bars, which normally are connected by a small street so you can mix with the people in the street and in the other bars, because they are very close to each other.

On Friday we took a speed boat to get us to Koh Pahgnan, we stayed in a beautiful place called The Sanctuary, which was in a hidden beach, with organic food, yoga, spa and Thai palm houses, which were beautiful!!!

On Saturday, it was the day of the Full Moon Festival, John and I worked on doing a plan for filming on the night.
Also we were celebrating our 6-month anniversary in the Smirnoff 10!!! Everyone was super excited about the full moon festival and Kung was in the DJ line up of that night.

So, the main festival was in Had Ran, a beach 20 min in a boat from our Sanctuary, so we got there in a boat, we danced and talked to the people over there, we worked hard the first hours and then we left Had Ran, and left to our Sanctuary, because they had another full moon party over there…Which was awesome!!!! The DJ was a French guy: he played progressive trance and minimal techno (my favourite genres of music) so I danced all night 'til the sun came up!

After the party was finished, some drum players took their drums to the beach and made a small drum battle while we were taking the sun and drinking a healthy smoothie from the Sanctuary.

This festival was the best festival in a long time… the moon was beautiful, on this island the moon looks a lot bigger, the people were so nice and the place was such a beautiful dream, so calm and chilled out.

Now we have to leave because we have a flight to catch to Takashi’s hometown JAPAN!!!!!!
