BRAZILLLLLLL!

Sunny and rainy days, full of colours, textures and flavours…music and rhythm, that’s how I can describe the beautiful Brazil. A mixture of colours and traditions.

When we get out of the plane, the Diageo people waiting for us in a super SMIRNOFF Van, I couldn’t believe it, it was great… ha-ha!

After that, they took us to meet the finalists to become the tenth member of the Smirnoff Ten. It was awesome and everybody was incredible.
Finally our tenth member has joined the team: The beautiful Luiza.

Dance dance dance… this is the real nightlife in Brazil, that’s how I can describe the it in this beautiful country, because people here really know how to dance, they are so kind and warm.

Samba, bossa nova, rock, drum n bass, chill out, lounge and trance music… you can find what ever you look for in Brazil, Sao Paulo…Big city, big buildings, a lot of people, restaurants, places and parks.

We went out to a lot of different places, Marco (our guide) took us to one place with this beautiful bossa nova music, Later, drum n’ bass… we danced all night, we also went to a place with live music and it was awesome - everybody was dancing like crazy (boogie boogie boogie! Dancing shoes keep me dancing all night!) till they closed the place.

We also went to Guaruja, a beautiful beach one hour from Sao Paulo. When we got there it was raining, but only a little bit, so we decided to spend a nice, relaxing weekend there. Everybody was super exited with the idea of having this weekend in the beach. Marco (our tour guide) got us one small flat for our accommodation. The next day, we spent the whole time at the beach, the feeling of the sand on my feet was delicious; we were playing volley ball and truly it was a big opportunity to get more integrated with the rest of the team.

Surfing on the Internet I found a Big TRANCE FESTIVAL called the XXX Experience, so Takesh, Kareem and I decided to go. I have been to a lot of different festivals around the globe, but this one was incredible, the visual arts made it with LED’s and super big screens everywhere. The decorations were full of colours, dragons, butterflies and dragonflies and the place was huge!!! There were like 20,000 people, and then it started to rain! We decided to stay; for sure the rain will stop…. Ha! It didn’t but anybody has moved, everybody was dancing an dancing until sunrise…we were all covered in mud, but it was great so we didn’t mind.

This was my first trance festival in this Smirnoff Experience and it was one of the best trance festivals I have ever seen in my life (I’m sure that they are more waiting for me).

Next destination : South Africa!!!!
